Statexpress Packers and Movers is a professional moving and relocation service provider operating across India. We specialize in household shifting, office relocation, vehicle transportation, warehouse storage, and international moving services. Our mission is to provide safe, timely, and hassle-free relocation solutions to individuals, families, and businesses.

These Terms and Conditions govern all transactions, bookings, and services provided by Statexpress Packers and Movers through our website www.statexpresspackers.com, phone, email, or any other communication channel. By booking or availing any of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms in their entirety.

We reserve the right to update, modify, or change these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically. Continued use of our services after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

A booking with Statexpress Packers and Movers is considered confirmed only when a written confirmation (via email, SMS, or WhatsApp) has been sent by our team to the customer. Verbal commitments or informal conversations do not constitute a binding booking.

To confirm a booking, customers may be required to pay an advance amount as specified by our team at the time of inquiry. This advance amount is adjustable against the total service cost.

In case of cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, government orders, strikes, etc.), we will reschedule the move at no additional charge or provide a full refund of the advance, at our discretion.

Statexpress Packers and Movers reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any booking due to unforeseen operational constraints. In such cases, customers will be notified as soon as possible and offered an alternative date or a full refund.

All quotations provided by Statexpress Packers and Movers are based on the information provided by the customer at the time of inquiry, including the volume of goods, distance, type of items, accessibility of the location, and other relevant factors. Quotations are estimates and may be subject to revision based on actual conditions observed during the move.

• Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.
• The final price may vary if the actual volume of goods exceeds the estimated amount.
• Additional charges may apply for extra floors, narrow staircases, elevator unavailability, long carries, or difficult access routes.
• Charges for packing materials, specialized equipment, or extra manpower will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
• GST and other applicable taxes are charged as per prevailing government regulations.
• Payment is due as per the schedule agreed at the time of booking — typically a portion in advance and the balance upon delivery.

In case of non-payment or delayed payment, Statexpress Packers and Movers reserves the right to withhold delivery of goods or charge a storage fee until all dues are cleared.

Customers play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and successful move. By booking our services, customers agree to the following responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and complete information regarding the volume, type, and special handling requirements of all items to be moved.
• Ensure that all items are accessible and ready for packing/loading on the scheduled date and time.
• Disclose any fragile, antique, high-value, or irreplaceable items prior to the move so that appropriate care and handling can be arranged.
• Ensure that parking space is available for our vehicles at both pick-up and delivery locations.
• Obtain any necessary permissions, No Objection Certificates (NOCs), or approvals required by housing societies, building management, or local authorities.
• Be present (or have an authorized representative present) at both the origin and destination during the move.
• Ensure all personal documents, jewellery, cash, and irreplaceable items are personally carried and NOT included in the moving consignment.
• Declare any items that are restricted, regulated, or require special permits under local or national laws.

Statexpress Packers and Movers takes great care in handling all goods entrusted to us. However, our liability is limited as described below. Our standard liability covers damages caused directly by our negligence during packing, loading, transit, unloading, or unpacking. We are not responsible for pre-existing damages, inherent defects, or wear and tear of goods.

• Claims for damage or loss must be reported at the time of delivery by noting it on the delivery receipt/acknowledgement form.
• Claims reported after 24 hours of delivery may not be accepted.
• Fragile items (glass, ceramics, electronics) are handled with care but carry inherent risk. Customers should declare such items and opt for special packaging.
• We are not liable for damage to items that were self-packed by the customer.
• Our liability does not extend to consequential, indirect, or financial losses arising from delayed delivery or transit damage.
• Maximum compensation for damage without insurance will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and will not exceed the declared value of the damaged item.

Certain categories of items are strictly prohibited from being transported by Statexpress Packers and Movers. Customers must ensure that none of the following are included in the consignment:

• Explosives, firearms, ammunition, or any dangerous weapons
• Flammable or combustible materials (petrol, kerosene, LPG cylinders, etc.)
• Illegal substances, narcotics, or contraband items
• Perishable food items unless special arrangements are made in advance
• Live plants or animals
• Cash, jewellery, or high-value financial instruments
• Confidential government documents or classified materials
• Any item whose transportation is restricted or prohibited under Indian law

Statexpress Packers and Movers reserves the right to inspect and refuse to transport any item suspected to fall under the above categories. Any legal consequences arising from undisclosed prohibited items shall be the sole responsibility of the customer.

We strive to deliver all consignments within the estimated timeframe communicated at the time of booking. However, delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed delivery dates. Statexpress Packers and Movers shall not be held liable for delays caused by:

• Traffic congestion, road closures, or infrastructure blockages
• Adverse weather conditions, natural calamities, or acts of God
• Vehicle breakdowns or mechanical failures
• Government restrictions, checkpost delays, or regulatory inspections
• Strikes, bandhs, civil unrest, or other public disruptions
• Incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the customer
• Non-availability of the customer or authorized representative at the destination

Statexpress Packers and Movers offers short-term and long-term warehousing solutions for customers requiring temporary storage during relocation. The following terms apply to storage services:

• Storage charges are calculated on a per-day or per-month basis as agreed upon at the time of booking.
• Goods stored in our warehouse are the customer's responsibility in terms of insurance coverage unless a specific storage insurance plan is purchased.
• We provide secure, clean, and dry storage facilities; however, we are not liable for damage caused by inherent properties of goods or force majeure events.
• Customers must provide written notice of at least 48 hours before retrieving stored goods.
• In case of non-payment of storage dues, we reserve the right to hold goods until full payment is received.
• Access to stored goods may be arranged during business hours with prior notice.

At Statexpress Packers and Movers, customer satisfaction is our top priority. In the event of any dispute, grievance, or complaint regarding our services, we encourage the following resolution process:

• Step 1 – Contact Us: Reach out to our customer support team via phone or email with a clear description of the issue.
• Step 2 – Investigation: We will acknowledge your complaint within 24 business hours and conduct an internal review within 5 business days.
• Step 3 – Resolution: We will offer a resolution (refund, compensation, or service correction) as appropriate based on our findings.
• Step 4 – Escalation: If unresolved, disputes may be escalated to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India).

All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in India. Customers agree that they will first attempt to resolve disputes amicably before pursuing legal action.

Statexpress Packers and Movers collects personal information such as name, address, contact number, and email address solely for the purpose of providing our services and improving customer experience. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.

• Your personal data will not be sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
• We may share your information with logistics partners or insurance providers solely to fulfill the service you have booked.
• We use reasonable security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
• Customers have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data held by us.
• By using our website or services, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described above.

Statexpress Packers and Movers shall not be held responsible for any failure or delay in performance of services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These include, but are not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, cyclones), war, terrorism, civil commotion, pandemic, epidemic, government-imposed lockdowns, port closures, fuel shortages, or any other event that is unforeseeable and unavoidable.

In such cases, we will notify the customer as promptly as possible and make all commercially reasonable efforts to resume services at the earliest opportunity. No penalty or compensation will be applicable for delays or failures attributable to force majeure events.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms, including disputes regarding their validity, interpretation, or enforceability, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

By availing the services of Statexpress Packers and Movers, you agree that Indian law applies to your use of our services and that you submit to the jurisdiction of Indian courts for the resolution of any disputes.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Statexpress Packers and Movers reserves the right to amend, update, or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website www.statexpresspackers.com and will be effective immediately upon publication.
