1. Policy Overview
At Statexpress Packers and Movers, we strive to provide the highest quality packing, moving, transportation, loading, unloading, and storage services. This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all bookings made directly through our website www.statexpresspackers.com, via phone, email, or any other official communication channel.
This policy covers all types of moves including household shifting, office relocation, vehicle transportation, and warehousing/storage services. We encourage all customers to carefully review this policy at the time of booking to avoid any confusion at a later stage.
Statexpress Packers and Movers reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time without prior notice. However, the policy in effect at the time of your booking confirmation will apply to your specific order.
2. Booking Confirmation & Advance Payment
To confirm and secure your moving date with Statexpress Packers and Movers, an advance booking amount is required. This advance payment ensures that our team, vehicles, and packing materials are reserved exclusively for your move on the agreed date and time.
- An advance payment of 20% to 30% of the total estimated cost is required at the time of booking confirmation.
- The remaining balance is payable before the commencement of the move or as agreed in the service contract.
- Payments can be made via bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS/RTGS), UPI, credit/debit card, or cash as mutually agreed.
- A booking confirmation will be sent to your registered email or mobile number once the advance is received.
- The booking is not considered confirmed until the advance payment has been received and acknowledged by our team.
3. Cancellation Policy
We understand that circumstances may force you to cancel or postpone your move. Our cancellation policy is structured to be fair to both parties. Cancellation charges are applied based on the notice period provided before the scheduled date of the move.
The following cancellation schedule applies to all bookings made with Statexpress Packers and Movers:

4. Rescheduling / Postponement Policy
We understand that moving plans can change due to various personal, professional, or unforeseen reasons. Statexpress Packers and Movers allows rescheduling of your move under the following conditions:
- Rescheduling requests made more than 5 days before the original move date will be accommodated free of charge, subject to availability on the new date.
- Rescheduling requests made 3 to 5 days before the move date will attract a nominal rescheduling fee of ₹500 to ₹1,000 depending on the service type.
- Rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before the scheduled move date will be treated as a cancellation, and applicable cancellation charges will apply.
- A booking can be rescheduled a maximum of one time without additional penalties (subject to the notice conditions above).
- Rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing via email or WhatsApp message to our official contact number.
Statexpress Packers and Movers will do its best to accommodate rescheduled bookings on the requested new dates, but cannot guarantee availability, especially during festive seasons, month-end periods, and peak relocation periods.
5. Refund Process & Timelines
If you are eligible for a refund as per our cancellation policy, Statexpress Packers and Movers will process your refund in a timely and transparent manner. The following process applies to all eligible refunds:
- Refunds are processed only after the written cancellation request has been received and verified by our team.
- Refunds will be credited to the same payment method used at the time of booking (bank account, UPI, card, etc.).
- Cash payments will be refunded via bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS) to your provided bank details.
- Eligible refunds are typically processed within 7 to 10 working days from the date of cancellation approval.

- Refunds are made in Indian Rupees (INR) only, irrespective of the mode of original payment.
6. Non-Refundable Situations
There are certain situations in which the advance or any payment made to Statexpress Packers and Movers will be considered non-refundable. These include:
- Cancellation made on the same day as the scheduled move or after our team has already departed for your location.
- Customer is not available or accessible at the pick-up location at the scheduled time without prior intimation.
- Incorrect address or contact information provided at the time of booking leading to failed service delivery.
- The customer refuses to allow our team to perform the service after they have arrived at the location.
- Goods are not ready for packing/loading at the agreed time, causing unreasonable delays beyond 2 hours.
- Advance payments made for special services such as fragile item packing, vehicle transport, or storage that have already been processed or initiated.
- Service has been fully completed as per the agreed terms and the customer raises a dispute without valid grounds.
7. Cancellation or Failure by Statexpress Packers and Movers
While we take every possible measure to honor all confirmed bookings, there may be rare situations beyond our control that require us to cancel or reschedule a booking. In such cases, Statexpress Packers and Movers will take full responsibility and offer the following remedies:
- If we cancel your confirmed booking due to operational issues, you will receive a full 100% refund of all amounts paid, with no deductions.
- Alternatively, we will offer a reschedule at the same price on your preferred new date (subject to availability).
- If service is delayed by more than 4 hours due to our fault (excluding force majeure events), a compensation discount of up to 10% may be applied on your total bill.
- We will inform you at the earliest possible time if any disruption to your scheduled service is anticipated.
Force majeure events including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, strikes, floods, extreme weather conditions, civil disturbances, or road blockades are outside the control of Statexpress Packers and Movers. In such cases, a full refund or complimentary rescheduling will be offered to the customer.
8. Damage Claims & Compensation Policy
Statexpress Packers and Movers takes utmost care in handling all your goods with professional packing materials and trained manpower. However, in the rare event of damage or loss of goods during transit, the following process applies:
- Any damage or loss must be reported to our team at the time of delivery or within 24 hours of delivery completion.
- Claims raised after 24 hours of delivery may not be entertained.
- Photographic or video evidence of the damaged goods must be provided to support the claim.
- Our team will investigate the claim within 5–7 working days and respond with a resolution.
- Compensation, if applicable, will be as per the agreed declared value of goods in the service contract or as per the standard liability terms agreed at the time of booking.
- Items packed by the customer themselves (self-packed boxes) are not covered under our damage liability policy unless our team assisted in the packing.
9. Cancellation Policy for Storage Services
For customers who have availed warehousing or storage services from Statexpress Packers and Movers, the following cancellation and refund terms apply:
- Storage services booked for a minimum period of 30 days must be cancelled with at least 15 days written notice to avoid additional charges.
- Cancellation of storage services before commencement (at least 7 days notice): Full refund minus a 10% processing fee.
- Cancellation after goods have been placed in storage: Charges will be levied on a pro-rata daily basis for the period the goods were stored.
- Goods must be collected within 3 days of the cancellation confirmation, failing which additional storage charges will apply.
- Any outstanding dues must be cleared before goods are released from our warehouse.
10. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund
To cancel your booking or request a refund with Statexpress Packers and Movers, please follow the steps below:
- Step 1: Call or WhatsApp us at +91 9187412519 to inform our customer service team about your intention to cancel.
- Step 2: Send a formal written cancellation request to info@statexpresspackers.com with your booking reference number, name, contact details, and reason for cancellation.
- Step 3: Our team will acknowledge your cancellation request within 24 working hours and confirm the applicable charges/refund amount.
- Step 4: Provide your bank details (account number, IFSC, UPI ID) for processing the refund, if applicable.
- Step 5: Refund will be credited within 7–10 working days from the approval date.
Please keep your booking confirmation number handy when contacting us, as it helps our team process your request faster and without delay.
11. Dispute Resolution
At Statexpress Packers and Movers, we value our customers deeply and are committed to resolving any concerns fairly and amicably. In case of any dispute regarding refunds, cancellations, or service quality:
- Customers are encouraged to first reach out to our customer support team via phone or email for an informal resolution.
- If the matter is not resolved within 10 working days, customers may escalate the concern to our senior management team.
- All disputes will be governed by the laws of India and subject to the jurisdiction of courts in the location of our registered office.
- We aim to resolve all disputes within 15–30 working days from the formal escalation date.
Our goal is always to ensure customer satisfaction and we will go the extra mile to resolve any genuine concerns in a transparent and timely manner.
12. Policy Updates & Acceptance
Statexpress Packers and Movers reserves the right to modify, update, or revise this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website www.statexpresspackers.com. It is the responsibility of the customer to review this policy periodically.
By confirming a booking and making any payment to Statexpress Packers and Movers, customers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms outlined in this Refund & Cancellation Policy. Ignorance of this policy will not constitute grounds for waiver of cancellation charges or refund denials.
This policy applies to all services offered under the brand name Statexpress Packers and Movers including household moves, office moves, vehicle transport, packing services, and storage/warehousing services.
